Didn’t spend a dime on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. But for Giving Tuesday, I gave where my heart has been for a long time: Transforming Congregations. From its inception, it has been an equipping ministry for pastors and local churches around the country. Until recently, their work has been primarily within the United Methodist Church.
But now they are expanding their efforts to include other Methodist and Wesleyan denominations, helping them minister wisely and effectively to the sexually addicted, abused, and confused.
For about 18 years, I have prayed for and cheered on this incredible work of God. For a brief time 15 years ago, I served on their board. Occasionally I have given financially. This year I gave generously.
Matching gifts are a great motivator, and TC has been offered a matching challenge grant of $10,000 in order to end their year with strength.
Please take a mere six minutes to view this video. There you will hear testimonials from authors, pastors, ministry leaders, psychologists, and even a theology professor who all wholeheartedly endorse the work of TC and encourage us to give.

TC has recruited me to write a ministry curriculum which will use inner healing prayer for ministry to the broken. I’m pretty jazzed about it. And I believe God will have me working arm and arm with them in the years ahead.
Please pray and give.
