February marks the third anniversary of launching this blog. Since then, I’ve posted an average of four articles per month, all with the purpose of informing and equipping the Christian community to help those caught in the riptide of the Sexual Tsunami. I’ve never lost sight that we are in this rescue effort together!
There are many issues that grab our attention these days. Israel is at war; Russia is expanding; China is threatening; and, God help us, we are entering the year of a presidential election!
There are also many vital ministries of compassion which beckon for our financial help and involvement. Persecution of Christians is on the rise, most recently the slaughter of Nigerian believers. And there are always natural disasters, social ills, and racial injustices of all kinds which beckon.
This blog, however, is focused upon drawing your attention and compassion toward ministry to the sexually addicted, abused, and confused.
Yes, of necessity, I at times highlight cultural trends and controversial topics, but the ultimate aim is to create awareness of the sexual chaos that is engulfing the world, enslaving a new generation, and maiming our children. The church absolutely needs to engage in this rescue effort!
About 300 people subscribe, most of you for free. It will always be available for free. But as we enter 2024, would you consider becoming a Tsunami Surfing Supporter?
Paid subscribers help keep the lights on, so to speak. They enable me to pay for professional pics to post, and books to keep me current. As I launch a training website, contributions are also helping to purchase equipment and fund an online platform to equip people to be the healing hands of Jesus for the sexually broken. (Tsunami Surfing Academy is arriving soon!)
Tsunami Surfing Supporters also have access to the comment section in order to engage in discussion. We’ve had Zoom events for further interaction as well. And some blog posts on more delicate issues have been restricted to paid subscribers only.
Cultural debates over sexual issues will wax and wane. But the Sexual Tsunami which floods the internet will ensure that abuse, addiction, and confusion will continue to rise.
