I try not to wade into the culture war over so-called "wokeness". I don't think it's helpful. I do think we are living in very challenging times, but the challenges I see are often quite different from the ones that some of my Christian friends see. I'm not interested in buying guns and heading for the hills. I figure those people will only last about two weeks longer than the rest of us.

Ah, but I sense gold might be an option??? Just kidding! And you are probably right about those who head to the hills . . . unless they've been stockpiling consistently since Y2K. Whether we wade into it or not, wokeness is not a phantom of culture war rhetoric. It is a defining issue which is wreaking havoc even at places like The NY Times. Of course, it may not affect some Christians any time soon.

Yeah, well, my parents have supplied me with a huge amount of survival food, for whatever it's worth! You'll know where to go if we get zapped by space lasers or the entire power grid goes down 😁.
